Punjab Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) Announces Peaceful Demonstration and Indefinite Hunger Strike

 Jalandhar : The Punjab Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA), in collaboration with SC Category Dealerships and allied social organizations, will stage a peaceful demonstration at outside the gate of HPCL North Frontier Zone, BSNL CTO Building, Sector 59, Phase 4, SAS Nagar, Mohali, on July 25, 2025. The demonstration aims to highlight the alleged harassment faced by SC petroleum dealers in Punjab, whose grievances are also currently being reviewed by the Punjab State SC Commission under Complaint Number 733/2025.

If their concerns are not adequately addressed after the demonstration, the aggrieved SC petroleum dealers will embark on an indefinite hunger strike starting July 28, 2025, at the same location. The hunger strike will be a peaceful yet potent expression of the dealers' determination to seek justice and resolution to their grievances.
