Congress stands firmly with the people in every moment of crisis: Rao Narendra Singh
Chandigarh/Jind. 20 May. The
Congress party on Wednesday staged a massive protest in Jind against
the NEET examination paper leak case, rising inflation, and the
continuous increase in petrol and diesel prices. The protest was
organized under the leadership of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee
President Rao Narendra Singh and witnessed the participation of a large
number of Congress workers and local residents.
During the protest, Congress leaders and workers raised slogans against the Central Government, stating that the country’s youth are deeply disappointed due to repeated incidents of examination paper leaks.
Addressing the gathering, Rao Narendra Singh said that the leakage of the NEET examination paper, one of the country’s most important competitive examinations, is an extremely serious and unfortunate incident. He stated that the episode has severely impacted the hard work, trust, and future of nearly 2.2 million students and their families. Lakhs of students are facing mental stress and depression, and reports of two students allegedly dying by suicide after being affected by the incident are extremely painful and alarming.
He further said that this is not the first time such incidents have occurred in major examinations. Similar irregularities have surfaced in several competitive exams over the past few years, clearly indicating the existence of an organized paper leak mafia that is playing with the future of the youth. He demanded strict and exemplary action against those responsible so that the confidence of the country’s youth can be restored.
Senior Congress leader Chaudhary Birender Singh, while addressing the gathering, said that the common people are suffering badly due to inflation. The continuous rise in the prices of LPG, petrol, and diesel has disturbed household budgets across the country.
He stated that the BJP government has failed on every front. According to him, the government has been unable to protect the future of the youth and has also failed to control inflation. He added that the Congress party is continuously fighting for public issues and stands strongly with the people in every difficult situation.
He further remarked that incidents like the NEET paper leak have raised serious questions about the credibility of the country’s education system. Lakhs of hardworking students and their families have faced injustice, and strict action should be taken against those responsible.
Chaudhary Birender Singh warned that if the government does not address public concerns soon, the party will intensify its agitation across the state.
Among those present on the occasion were Kamgar Karamchari Congress Haryana Chairman Naresh Malik, Jind District Congress Committee President Rishipal, former minister Rambhaj Lodhar, former MLAs Subhash Gangoli and Dayanand Sharma, Mahavir Gupta, Pramod Sehrawat, Satbir Dablain, Raghubir Bhardwaj, Rajvanti, Dalip Chairman, Wazir Pannu, Sumer Pradhan, Mahender Ratta, Rishi Yadav, Arvind Delu, Pratap Sarpanch, office bearers of various organizations and cells, along with several Congress supporters.
