Chandigarh, January 6 – The Haryana Government has invited online applications for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Caste students and under PM-YASASVI Component–II for students belonging to Other Backward Classes and Denotified Tribes for availing benefits during the academic session 2025–26.
A spokesperson of the Haryana Department of Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes and Antyodaya, while sharing detailed information, said that applicants must belong to the Scheduled Caste category for PMS-SC and to the Other Backward Class or Denotified Tribe category for PM-YASASVI Component–II. To be eligible for the schemes, the annual family income of the student should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh, and the applicant must be a domicile of Haryana.
The spokesperson further informed that eligible students can apply for the academic session 2025–26 through the National Scholarship Portal at http://scholarships.gov.in up to February 28, 2028.
