Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Panchkula on December 24, to attend key programmes with Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini

Panchkula December 21: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Sh Amit Shah will visit Panchkula on December 24. During his visit, he will participate in several programmes along with Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini.



Commissioner and Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal reviewed the preparations for the Union Home Minister’s proposed programmes in Panchkula and issued necessary directions to the concerned officers. Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Sh Satpal Sharma was also present on the occasion.

Dr. Amit Agrawal inspected various programme venues in view of the Union Home Minister’s visit. He said that all programmes would be organised in a grand and well-planned manner. For this, he directed the district administration and concerned departments to work in close coordination and complete all necessary arrangements well in advance. He also directed the officers to ensure smooth traffic flow and proper parking arrangements during the programmes.

During his visit to Panchkula, Union Home Minister Sh Amit Shah will attend the ‘Sahibzadon Ko Naman’ programme as the chief guest at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector-5, on the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas. Prior to this, he will inaugurate an exhibition organised in connection with Veer Bal Diwas at the Indradhanush Auditorium complex.

In addition, Sh Amit Shah will take the salute at the police passing-out parade at Tau Devi Lal Sports Stadium, Sector-3, and address the jawans. He will unveil the statue of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister late Sh Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Atal Park in MDC Sector-1, Panchkula, and also visit an exhibition on his life at Panchkamal.

On the same day, Sh Amit Shah will inaugurate a mega blood donation camp and motivate the blood donors. He will also participate as the chief guest in the Mega Cooperative Conference to be held at Indradhanush Auditorium.

Among those present on this occasion include Deputy Commissioner of Police Smt Srishti Gupta, Additional Director (Administration), Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Smt Varsha Khangwal, DCP (Crime and Traffic) Sh Manpreet Singh Sudan, OSD to the Chief Minister Sh Vivek Kalia, OSD Dr. Prabhleen Singh, SDM Panchkula Sh Chanderkant Kataria, SDM Kalka Sh Sanyam Garg, Estate Officer, HSVP, Sh Manav Malik, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Sh Gaurav Chauhan, along with officers from various other departments.
