PGIMER Radiologist Awarded UK Royal College Fellowship

chandigarh 07.07.2026:   *Prof. Kushaljit Singh Sodhi* , Professor, Department of Radiodiagnosis, at the PGIMER, Chandigarh has been awarded with the Honorary Fellowship of the *Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), London, UK* at a ceremony held at *Central Hall Westminster, London, UK* ,  recently. This is one of the highest and rarest honors conferred by the Royal College, London and is bestowed upon a select group of radiologists worldwide in recognition of exceptional contributions to the specialty and international medical leadership in radiology. *Prof.Sodhi has been awarded this prestigious fellowship in recognition of his significant contributions to global pediatric radiology through excellence in clinical care, research, education, and academic leadership.* 



 *Prof. Sodhi* currently serves as *Vice President of the Asian Oceanic Society of Pediatric Radiology (AOSPR)the first Indian to hold this positionand is the President-Elect of the Indian Society of Pediatric Radiology (ISPR).* He also serves as *Secretary of the World Federation of Pediatric Imaging (WFPI),* reflecting his prominent role in advancing pediatric imaging globally.


 *Prof. Sodhi's* academic accomplishments include nearly *300 peer-reviewed publications and 28 book chapters.* *He is the Editor of the textbook Neonatal Ultrasound (Springer), a Section Editor of the journal Pediatric Radiology, and an Associate Editor of Elseviers Comprehensive Textbook of Clinical Radiology.* His areas of expertise include pediatric thoracic imaging, neonatal imaging, and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in radiology.
