Chandigarh :  Rao Narender Singh, President, Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee has appointed in-charges for various areas in view of the ongoing local body elections in the State. The appointments are as follows:

Panchkula             —  Sh. Shashi Sharma, Senior Congress Leader
Ambala                     —  Sh. Ashok Arora, MLA
Sonipat                     —  Sh. B. B. Batra, MLA, and 
                                              Sh. Chander Prakash, MLA
Rewari & Dharuhera     —  Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav, Former Minister

The Haryana PCC Chief said that the purpose of these appointments is to make the election campaign more effective, organized, and result-oriented. He expressed confidence that the Congress Party will achieve victory with a full majority in the local body elections.
