‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a powerful medium of inspiration for nation-building through public participation: Sanjay Tandon

Chandigarh, 30 August: Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon on Sunday listened to the 137th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ in  Ward No. 15 of District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Chandigarh. Tandon listened to the programme  along with   Sardar Satnam Singh Sandhu,   Rajya Sabha MP ; Rambir Bhatti, State General Secretary ;   Dr. Naresh Panchal,  State Vice-President; Dilip Kumar Sonu,  District President; Gaurav Kashyap, Mandal President, and hundreds of party workers.

Speaking on the occasion, Tandon, also the party's National Council Member, said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has emerged as an effective platform for the Prime Minister to directly connect with the people and highlight inspiring stories of positive initiatives.

Tandon said, "‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a powerful medium of inspiration for nation-building through public participation."

“‘Mann Ki Baat’ is not just a radio programme but is a powerful medium of connecting with every section of society and bringing positive efforts from across the country into the national spotlight. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interaction with the people inspires us to understand our responsibility towards society,” Tandon said.

He said that through ‘Mann Ki Baat’, the Prime Minister has consistently highlighted initiatives related to social service, innovation, environmental conservation, cleanliness and other issues of public interest. Such efforts encourage citizens to adopt a positive outlook and strengthen their sense of responsibility towards society, he added.

Tandon said, "Every BJP worker is committed to carrying this spirit forward through service and welfare-oriented activities. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ inspires us not merely to appreciate good work, but also to become active participants in such initiatives.”

He said that such programmes play an important role in connecting party workers with the BJP’s ideology and the Prime Minister’s vision.
