Mohali, September 4, 2026: At just 24 years of age, Punjab youngster Aagman Bhatia, Co-founder & CPO of Mohali-based technology startup Dooritt, is developing an AI-powered infrastructure intelligence platform aimed at identifying where India may need housing, roads, healthcare, education and commercial infrastructure before future demand becomes visible.
Powered by its AI platform Oora, Dooritt is developing technology that can connect thousands of fragmented signals—from population growth, migration and income patterns to real estate activity, transportation, healthcare, education, businesses, connectivity, land use and construction—to identify where future infrastructure demand could emerge.
“The biggest opportunity with AI is not just to understand what is happening today, but to identify patterns that can tell us what may happen next. If we can bring thousands of signals together, we can potentially give decision-makers an early indication of where infrastructure demand is likely to emerge,” said Aagman Bhatia.
The platform seeks to move beyond traditional planning based largely on historical data and address a more forward-looking question: Where will India need to build next? This includes identifying regions where population growth could accelerate, housing and road requirements may increase, or healthcare, education and commercial infrastructure could come under pressure.
A key part of Bhatia’s vision is to develop an AI model for India from Chandigarh. The model could analyse demographic, economic, real estate and infrastructure signals to identify emerging growth patterns and anticipate requirements before they become visible on the ground.
“Punjab and the Chandigarh Capital Region can be an important starting point because the region has a rapidly evolving mix of residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure development. Our objective is to build a model that can read these changes early and help identify where the next wave of demand could come from,” Bhatia said.
Already working on advanced applications of AI agents and AI orchestration systems, Bhatia is evolving Dooritt from an AI market research platform for smaller businesses into a broader B2B and B2G intelligence platform.
Oora can undertake complex, hyperlocal market research in minutes. In real estate, it can assist users in assessing builder and project credibility, identifying suitable properties and conducting AI-powered checks on real estate documents. Initially built around 40+ parameters, the technology is now being advanced towards analysing 1,000+ parameters for more complex applications.
The potential application extends beyond real estate. Governments, infrastructure companies, developers and businesses could use such intelligence to assess future demand before making major investments and better anticipate requirements for housing, transportation, healthcare, education and commercial infrastructure.
“India is building at an unprecedented scale, but the challenge is to ensure that infrastructure is planned ahead of demand rather than after demand has already arrived. We want to build an intelligence layer that can help governments and businesses make those decisions earlier and with more data,” Bhatia added.
Dooritt’s ambition is to shift infrastructure planning from reacting to existing demand to anticipating future demand. Emerging from Chandigarh but looking at a national opportunity, the young entrepreneur envisions building an intelligence layer that can help India understand not only where it stands today, but where it may need to build tomorrow.
