Chandigarh, August 30 – The Bharatiya Janata Party received a significant boost in the Lehragaga area in Punjab as people from various sections joined the party, expressing confidence in the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, and the policies of the BJP.
More than three dozen people from Patiala, Mansa, Sangrur, Patran and Lehragaga joined the BJP. They included former workers and functionaries associated with the Aam Aadmi Party, Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal, besides social workers, businessmen, farmers, contractors, ex-servicemen and people from other sections of society.
