Chief Minister releases poster of Aspire Talent Hunt
SHIMLA(7 June, 2026): Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today released the poster of the Aspire Talent Hunt, which is scheduled to be held on September 27. Through the Talent Hunt, Aspire will select a Super-50 batch of meritorious students. In addition, the institute will provide free NEET and JEE coaching to 15 Children of the State. The institute will bear the entire cost of coaching and will also provide study material to these children free of cost.
The Chief Minister said that the present State Government has enacted a law granting the status of “Children of the State” to around 6,000 orphaned children in Himachal Pradesh. Under this initiative, the Government has assumed responsibility for their care and education up to the age of 27 years. He further said that the State Government is also bearing the educational expenses of children of widowed and single women under the ‘Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojana’. He added that the Government has launched several welfare initiatives aimed at ensuring the well-being and socio-economic upliftment of underprivileged and marginalized sections of the society.
Managing Director of Aspire, Yogendra Meena was also present on the occasion.
