Jan Aushadhi Kendra Inaugurated by Senior BJP leader and Member of the BJP's National Council, Sanjay Tandon

Chandigarh, June 7:  A newly established Jan Aushadhi Kendra has opened at Sector 20, Chandigarh. The centre was inaugurated by Senior BJP leader and Member of the BJP's National Council, Sanjay Tandon. The initiative aims to make quality healthcare more accessible and affordable by providing high-quality generic medicines at significantly reduced prices.

Speaking on the occasion, Tandon said, “The Jan Aushadhi initiative reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s commitment to ensuring affordable healthcare for every citizen. This centre will be especially beneficial for senior citizens and economically weaker sections as it will provide quality medicines at prices that are 50 to 90 percent lower than market rates.”

The centre  started by Mohit Chawla and his wife aims  to provide a public welfare facility to strengthen healthcare access for local residents. The centre is likely to emerge as a valuable healthcare resource for residents of the area and contribute to the vision of a healthier and stronger India.
