Public Anger Clearly Indicates Congress Would Be Wiped Out If Elections Were Held Today
Shimla:Former BJP State President and Member of Parliament Suresh Kashyap said that after witnessing the massive and historic BJP rally in Kangra, the Congress government has gone completely on the back foot. Congress leaders themselves are astonished as to where such a huge number of people and BJP workers came from to attend the rally. He said that the government made every possible attempt to stop people from reaching the rally venue, yet despite all hurdles, a massive public turnout reached the venue, reflecting strong resentment against the Congress government.
Suresh Kashyap stated that the kind of deep anger being seen among the public and BJP workers against the Congress party clearly shows that if elections were held today, Congress would not be able to find its own existence. He said that the BJP will unite and launch a statewide movement against the anti-people policies of the Congress government and will ensure that this anti-people government is never allowed to return to power.
Launching a sharp attack, Kashyap alleged that the Congress party is anti-Sanatan, anti-people and anti-development. Since the Congress came to power in Himachal Pradesh, a complete halt has been put on development works. Development projects are stalled, the public is disappointed, and the government is engaged only in making false promises and hollow claims.
The MP also strongly criticized the Congress government on the issue of landless and poor families. He said that the objective of the policy introduced by the previous BJP government was to provide legal ownership and possession rights to families who had been living on government land for decades, but the present Congress government failed to present the case effectively in court. As a result, today more than 1.24 lakh families are facing the threat of becoming homeless.
Raising serious questions, Kashyap asked whether the government would make any sincere effort to protect the homes of these poor and hardworking families or leave them to fend for themselves on the streets.
Suresh Kashyap asserted that the Bharatiya Janata Party will fight for the rights of the poor, farmers, labourers and youth from the streets to the House and will take the truth of the Congress government’s anti-people policies to every household.
