OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY NCC CADETS IN 35TH ALL INDIA GV MAVALANKAR SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP (AIGVMSC) 2026

Chandigarh: NCC cadets have delivered an exceptional performance at the 35th All India GV Mavalankar Shooting Championship (AIGVMSC) 2026, clinching a total of 27 medals — 13 Gold, 6 Silver and 8 Bronze — across various shooting disciplines.

The championship saw strong participation from cadets representing multiple NCC Directorates. A total of 48 cadets (24 Senior Division Men and 24 Senior Wing Women) successfully achieved the Minimum Qualifying Score (MQS) for the National Championship, underscoring the depth of talent and rigorous training standards within the organisation.

• Peep Sight Prone: 4 Gold, 1 Silver, 4 Bronze (9 medals)

• Open Sight Prone: 3 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze (6 medals)

• Air Rifle: 3 Gold (3 medals)

• Peep Sight 3-Position: 2 Silver, 1 Bronze (3 medals)

• Open Sight 3-Position: 3 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze (6 medals)

• CDT Tanu (UP) – Gold in Youth Women Peep Sight Prone

• CDT Mohit (UP) – Gold in Junior Men & Youth Men Peep Sight Prone

• UO Devang Sharma (UP) – Gold in Sub-Youth, Youth & Junior Men Air Rifle

• SUO Yogaraj Ramagonatti (KAR&G) – Gold in Junior Men Open Sight Prone

• JUO Mayuresh Santosh Pawar (MAHA) – Gold in Junior Men Open Sight 3P
