The meeting began by shedding light on today's changing political conditions. Over the past year, the declining economy caused by capitalist profiteering is depriving people of even basic amenities and is making living conditions even worse. The government is increasing the burden on the people through loan waivers and tax concessions for the wealthy, while the situation of education and employment continues to worsen. Today, the unemployment rate among graduated youth in the country has reached 27%. Due to unemployment and economic hardship, along with rising fees caused by the privatisation of education and cut-throat competition, students are going through severe mental stress, and thousands are taking the path of suicide every year. Recent worker and student struggles have pushed the stagnation of people's larger struggles back toward activity, but the task of mobilising and organising people along revolutionary lines still lies ahead of us. Members also discussed conditions at Panjab University, Chandigarh, on expanding the student organisation along revolutionary lines to counter rising fees, the shortage of hostels, attacks on freedom of speech, and RSS interference faced by students.

The activity report and financial report of the previous term's tenure were presented before the members, which the members passed. Discussion was held on participating in the organisation's work through various methods in the new session.
