RIMC Dehradun Entrance Examination for 2026 Session successfully conducted in Panchkula, 244 students participated
Panchkula, December 7: The entrance examination for the July 2026 session of the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, was conducted today at Government College for Women, Sector-14, Panchkula, in a fair and transparent manner. A total of 244 candidates from Haryana appeared for the examination.
Sharing details, a spokesperson of the Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare Department, Haryana, said that RIMC Dehradun established in 1922 aims to provide holistic education to boys and girls and prepare them to become officers in the Indian Army. After Independence, the college emerged as a prominent centre of leadership, inspiring the establishment of institutions such as the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla; Officers Training Academy, Chennai; and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
RIMC offers public school-level education to students aged 11 to 18 years. Admission is granted through a specially conducted All India Competitive Examination.
