Congress Holds Organizational Deliberations in Rohtak, Engages with Workers at Assembly Level


Chandigarh/Rohtak:  Under the leadership of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee In-charge Sanjay Dutt ji and Pradesh Congress President Rao Narender Singh, organizational meetings were held in Rohtak today. During the meetings, detailed discussions were held with Congress leaders and workers from the Garhi-Sampla-Kiloi, Meham, Kalanaur and Rohtak Assembly constituencies regarding organizational activities, strengthening the party at the grassroots level and issues concerning the public.


In addition, meetings of the executive committees of the Rohtak Rural District Congress Committee and Rohtak Urban District Congress Committee were also held. Discussions focused on strengthening the party organization up to the booth level, maintaining continuous communication with workers and raising public issues more effectively.

On the occasion, Pradesh Congress President Rao Narender Singh said that the people of Haryana are currently troubled by inflation, unemployment, problems faced by farmers, employment-related concerns of the youth and issues concerning government employees. He said that instead of resolving the problems of the people, the BJP government should not limit itself merely to announcements and publicity. Congress workers will reach every village and ward as the voice of the people and strongly raise issues concerning public welfare.

He said that the Congress organization will become stronger through the hard work of its workers and direct engagement with the people. The objective of the Assembly- and district-level meetings is to establish dialogue with every worker of the organization and make the party’s activities more effective at the grassroots level.

Those present at the meeting included Rohtak Rural District Congress Committee President Balwan Singh Ranga, Rohtak Urban District Congress Committee President Kuldeep Singh, MLAs Bharat Bhushan Batra, Shakuntla Khatak and Balram Dangi, former ministers Anand Singh Dangi and Subhash Batra, former MLA Santlal, district- and Assembly-level office-bearers, senior leaders and a large number of Congress workers.

The Pradesh Congress President called upon the workers to strengthen the organization through mutual coordination and remain among the people while raising their issues. He said that the Congress’s priority is to protect the rights of the people, strengthen democratic values and provide a political platform for the voice of every section of society.
